Meadow is the daughter of Tony and Carmela Soprano. She is the older of their two children. Meadow is a beautiful young woman who knows what she wants out of life. She graduated from high school with honours and presently she is taking courses at Columbia. In addition to that she also volunteer at South Bronx Law Center.

As one would imagine that with she being the child of a mob member she would not have always witness the usual law abiding activities taking place around her. Nevertheless, her parents have always been able to provide the necessary and many a time the not so necessary things that she and her brother Anthony JR. who is better known as A.J wanted. Whether she liked it or not, her parents have always made it a point to be actively involved in her life.

Her dad claims that he was in the waste business, but Meadow used her power of observation to figure out that that was not the only thing he did to earn a living. On the day that she and her father finally had a conversation about what else he did for a living, he admitted it to her.

She loves her parents and when anyone accuses her dad of any wrong doing she usually raises to his defence, even though she has no plans of following in his footsteps.

Problems however continued to emerge when it came to Meadow’s dating partners. At on point she was dating a fellow classmate and her parents whole hearted disapproved of the relationship. Jackie April JR. was to follow as her boyfriend and they did not approved of that relationship either.

Jackie Sr. was Jackie’s father and Richie Aprile was also his uncle. As far as her parents were concern Jackie JR. had no firm grip for his life. In addition to that Richie was not faithful to Meadow in their relationship. Jackie JR’s life was cut short at the tender age of twenty-two. When his body was discovered, it was apparent that he had been shot.

Even thought they Meadow and Jackie JR. had broken up, when she found out about his death, she took it very hard. There was nothing that anyone could have say at that point in time, which could have comforted her. She laid all of the blame of his death on her father’s shoulders as well as upon the way of life that the mobsters had chosen.

As time passed she moved to California and presently she is engaged to Finn De Triolo. This time around though, her parents do not have a problem with her fiancé.

Actress Jamie - Lynn Sigler plays the role of Meadow Soprano. She was born on the 15th May 1981 to Steve and Connie. She has also acted in Extreme Dating. Jamie – Lynn Sigler is also a spokesperson for both Sidebar and the National Eating Disorders Association after having learnt from her own person experiences in both areas.
