Furio Giunta
Furio Giunta

Furio Giunta is a man of many talents and a no nonsense kind of a guy. Whatever he decides to do, he goes after it in a passionate, but yet well thought out manner. Furio was born in Italy and he was the employed by the mob boss Zio Vittorio.

Once, while Furio and his employer were in the public domain, what sounded like gun shots rang out. Then, without a second thought, all due to his loyalty, Furio jumped in front of his employer to protect him from being killed. In this case however, it was not gunshots, instead it was wayward firecrackers that just made their way, into their direction.

It so happened that Tony Soprano was also there at the time and he was very much impressed by Furio Giunta. So impressed indeed that Tony decided that he wanted Furio in his employment in New Jersey. With that being the case, Tony took the necessary steps to get him there.

Furio immigrated to the U.S.A and was in the employment of Artie Bucco. Artie is the owner and chief of his own restaurant, named the Nuovo Vesuvio. He works there as a Mozzarella maker. Well, that’s what Tony wants the government to believe.

He is one of Tony’s employees who collect his money. Anyone who owes Tony money could come faced to face with him and whenever that happened he would leave them with an impression that was hard to forget.

He carries out his job effectively, but Furio has never felt as though he really fitted in with Tony and his crew. Nevertheless where his love interest was concern he was fiercely attracted to Carmela, Tony’s wife. In fact, it did not just stopped at attraction he was in love with her.

While he was living in New Jersey word came to him that his father had died. So Furio returned to his homeland for his father’s funeral. While he was there, his uncle was privy to the facts about his feelings for Carmela. As far as his uncle was concern he saw that his nephew had only two choices to choose from in the matter.

Choice one is to kill Tony thereby making the way clear for him to pursue Carmela. Or choice two, he must stay away from her. Furio weigh his options and then he returned to the U.S.A. However, it was not because he chooses to kill Tony, he went for choice number two he was going to stay away Carmela. Therefore he decided to put his house up for sale and then he returned to his homeland of Italy.

That was the last that anyone has heard of him.

Actor Federico Castelluccio plays the part of Furio Giunta. He has also acted in other films such as Diary of a Hit Man and Made. Federico Castelluccio was born on the 29th April 1964 in Naples, Italy. He is also a man of many talents, which includes him being an Artist.
