Adriana Cerva

Andrea Donna (Drea) de Matteo plays the role of the beautiful Adriana La Cerva. Adriana is the niece of Richie and Jackie Aprile, so the mobster lifestyle is nothing new to her. So being engaged to Christopher Moltisanti, who is played by actor Michael Imperioli, is for her, a dream come through. That dream however came with a price.

Anthony (A.J) Soprano Jr.

Anthony Soprano Jr. better know, as A.J is Tony and Carmela’s son. He was born after his sister Meadow. To the FBI however, he is code named Baby Bing. A.J have had his share of problems, but most of which is due to his own doing. Let’s take a look at his church activities. Once, after drinking himself drunk on stolen church wine, he turned up at school for his gym’s lesson. He was still drunk. Then on the day of his confirmation a party was thrown for him and at the party, he was caught smoking pot.

Artie Bucco

Actor John Ventimiglia plays the role of Artie Bucco. Artie is the owner of the Vesuvio Restaurant. However, he is not just the owner of the restaurant, he is also the chef of it. Artie is married to Charmaine, but his ties to Tony Sopranos were getting too much for his wife to bear. So she left him but she still continued to work in the restaurant.

Carmela Soprano

Carmela Soprano is the wife of Tony Soprano and actress Edie Falco plays her. Motivation throughout her early years was never a problem for Carmela. She always had a sense of direction for her life. She always knew what she wanted to become and so she pursue those things that would make her dreams become a reality. She was attending Montclair State University and she was taking Business Administration courses.

Christopher Moltisanti

Actor Michael Imperioli plays the role of Christopher Moltisanti. His father Dickie Moltisanti was murder when Christopher was still a toddler. Tony Soprano, the Mafia Boss in New Jersey had always looked up to Dickie, so out of his affections for him Tony has always taken care of Christopher. However they are cousins through marriage and Tony treads him more like a nephew than a cousin.

Corrado “Junior” Soprano

Dominic Chianese plays the role of Corrado “Junior” Soprano, better known as Uncle Junior. Uncle Junior was born to Corrado and Mariangela D’Agostino Soprano. Junior was the older of his two brothers. Ercoli, better known as Eckley, was mentally challenged and so his home was in a mental institution. Giovanni, better known as Johnny Boy was the father of Tony Soprano.

Dr. Jennifer Melfi

Actress Lorraine Bracco plays Dr. Jennifer Melfi’s. Dr. Melfi is a psychiatrist who is well respected in her field. She is divorce and has a son who attends the Bard College.

Eugene Pontecorvo

Actor Robert Funaro plays the role of Eugene Pontecorvo. Eugene is married to Deanne who desperately wants to leave New Jersey; and they have two sons, Robby and Ally who are both addicted to drugs. Eugene operates within the Aprile business. Unfortunately, many of the men with in the Aprile group has been disappearing and some of them were openly known to have died.

Furio Giunta

Furio Giunta is a man of many talents and a no nonsense kind of a guy. Whatever he decides to do, he goes after it in a passionate, but yet well thought out manner. Furio was born in Italy and he was the employed by the mob boss Zio Vittorio.

Gloria Trillo

Gloria is the woman with whom Tony Soprano was having an affair. This relationship did not lasted very long though, but it was unlike any relationship that Tony was ever involved in. She knew just what to do and say to make Tony melt, at least to a certain degree, into her arms. She was beautiful and she was not lacking in the common sense area either. Gloria worked at the Globe Mercedes and she held the position as one of the leading sales rep there. She was an independent woman and she was mostly ruled by her intuition.

Hesh Rabkin

Actor Jerry Adler plays the role of Herman Rabkin. He is better known as Hesh though. Hesh is Jewish and he has been around since the time of Tony Soprano’s father. Tony’s father Giocanni, better known, as Johnny Boy was once a part of the New Jersey mob organisation. He was Johnny Boy’s advisor.

Jackie Aprile JR.

Actor James Cerbone plays the role of Giacomo Michael Aprile JR whom was better known, as Jackie JR. His father Jackie Sr. was a very good friend of Tony Soprano the mob boss in New Jersey. So good friends indeed that Tony made a promise to him that he would not allow his son to walk down the criminal side of the law. His father did not wanted him to be a part of the criminal side of their family life.

Janice Soprano

Actress Aida Turtuno plays Janice Soprano’s role. Janice is Tony Soprano’s older sister. She is also married to Bobby Baccala Bacalieri. Her only child is Harpo and things between the two of them are not at its best. Janice was not one to spend her entire life in the place where she grew up. So when the fever hit her, she decided to leave home. This decision wasn’t too hard for her to make though, because she was constantly butting heads with her mother Livia.

Johnny Sacromoni

Actor Carmine Lupertazzi plays the role of Johnny Sacromoni who is better known as Johnny Sack. Johnny is married to Ginny and they have two daughters, Allegra and Catherine. Johnny loves his family and he is particular protective of his wife when it comes to her weight. Ginny struggles with her weight and at time she is talked and joked about by others. Whenever Johnny hears anyone making fun of her and her weight Johnny usually looses it.

Livia Soprano

Actress Nancy Marchand plays the role of Livia Soprano. Livia was married to Johnny Boy Soprano and she gave birth to Barbara, Tony and Janice Soprano. Her parents were Faustino, who is also know as Augie and Teresa was her mom. Her sister is also Quintina Blundetto.

Meadow Soprano

Meadow is the daughter of Tony and Carmela Soprano. She is the older of their two children. Meadow is a beautiful young woman who knows what she wants out of life. She graduated from high school with honours and presently she is taking courses at Columbia. In addition to that she also volunteer at South Bronx Law Center.

Paulie “Walnuts” Gualtieri

Actor Tony Sirico portrays the role of Paulie Gualtieri. Paulie, who is also known as Walnuts, has always made know his viewpoint in life. When he was nine years old, he drove a bat into one of his schoolmate’s head. This action spiral several years of being in and out of the Juvenile Correction Institution. At one point, Walnuts decided that he had had enough of the school system so he left it and around the age of seventeen years old, Johnny Boy Soprano employed him. Johnny Boy was Tony Soprano’s father. This however did not prevent him from spending some time in the Army.

Phil Leotardo

Actor Frank Vincent plays the role of Phil Leotardo. Johnny Sack is Phil’s boss and he also has a brother named Billy. In the 1980s Phil was sentence to twenty years in the penitentiary. After his release from prison, he went back to where he had left and that is the New York organisation of the Mafia. Carmine Lupertazzi Sr. was in charged, but shortly after Phil’s released, Carmine Sr. suffered a stroke that killed him.

Richie Aprile

Actor David Proval plays the role of Richie Aprile. Richie Aprile and Jackie April were brothers. Height was not to his advantage, but that had never been his problem. The courage to carry out what he intended to do and his impulsive behaviour was more than enough to make those who wanted to mess with him to think twice. However, this mincing character of his, was more that enough to send him to prison. He was sentence to ten years in prison.

Robert Baccalieri II

Actor Steven R. Schirripa plays the part of Robert Baccalieri who he is better known as Bobby Bacala. Bobby is a family man, he loved and was devoted to his wife Karen and their two children Robert Baccalieri III and Sophia. Sadly his wife Karen died in a car accident and it devastated him. It devastated him to the point that he almost suffers a breakdown.

Rosalie Aprile

Actress Sharon Angela plays the role of Rosalie Aprile. Rosalie Aprile was married to Jackie Aprile Sr. and they had two children, Jackie JR and Kelli. Richie Aprile was her brother-in-law. Jackie Sr. and Tony Soprano, the boss of the mob in New Jersey, were close friends. So close that Tony promised him that he would keep his son Jackie JR. out of the Mafia business. Jackie died in the hospital as a result of cancer.

Salvatore Bonpensiero

Actor Vincent Pastore plays the role of Salvatore Bonpensiero whom is better known as Big Pussy. It is said that he was given the name Big Pussy because in the past he was a cat burglar. So since there was already a Little Pussy Malenga, he was given the Big, so hence the name Big Pussy.

Silvio Dante

Actor Steve Van Zandt plays the part of Silvio Dante. He is married to Gabriella and they have a daughter named Heather. Silvio is the owner of the club, Bada Bing and several other clubs in Asbury Park. However, this was not exactly what he had wanted for his life. In fact, he had wanted to become a singer, but sadly the talent was not fully there. Nevertheless, those who do have the talent of singing he willingly offer them his assistance.

Tony Blundetto

Tony Blundetto had a bright career as a mobster. After all, Tony Soprano’s mom and his mom were sisters. That therefore would make Tony B., which he was, better known as and Tony Soprano cousins. Tony B’s mom’s name is Quintina Pollio Blundetto. That meant that his family bloodline does not end at the Soprano’s. He is also the cousin of Christopher Moltisanti. You see Christopher’s mom title before she was married was Blundetto.

Tony Soprano

Actor James Gandolfini plays the role of Anthony Soprano Sr., who is better known as Tony Soprano. Tony Soprano was the only son of his parents Johnny Boy and Livia, but he also has two sisters, Barbara and Janice. He is married to Carmela and they have two children. A daughter named Meadow and their son Anthony JR.
