Anthony (A.J) Soprano Jr.
Anthony (A.J) Soprano Jr.

Anthony Soprano Jr. better know, as A.J is Tony and Carmela’s son. He was born after his sister Meadow. To the FBI however, he is code named Baby Bing. A.J have had his share of problems, but most of which is due to his own doing.

Let’s take a look at his church activities. Once, after drinking himself drunk on stolen church wine, he turned up at school for his gym’s lesson. He was still drunk. Then on the day of his confirmation a party was thrown for him and at the party, he was caught smoking pot.

Let us now take a look at his driving skills. He decided to take his mother’s car even though he did not had a driver’s license but that’s not all though, he ended up crashing the car.

To say the least his school counsellors had a solution to his problem. They told his parents that he was borderline Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). He was also placed in therapy to help straighten him out. The therapy business didn’t lasted very long though.

His parents Tony and Carmela did not see his behaviour as a tremendous problem, they though that he was just the typical teenager. However, because he was not showing any sense of direction in his life he was walking on thin ice with his parents, especially his father. So when he was expelled from school that was the last straw. Tony sent him to the Hudson Military Institute. This boarding school was no playing ground. Television was out of the question and there was a 5:30 a.m. wake up requirement.

It was at this institute that it was discovered that Anthony Jr. did not just carry his father’s name, he also carried his affliction. He was suffering from the same affliction that afflicted both his father and his grandfather. This affliction is anxiety attacks. It was discovered after he fainted while putting on his school uniform. So that was the end of his time at the Hudson Military Institute.

With no sense of direction A.J continued to jump from one thing to another. Some of which was due to the fact that her was Tony Soprano’s son and some was due to his own developing reputation.

When his Uncle Junior shot his dad, A.J saw red and was bent on killing his uncle. So he went after him, but alas, when he was facing him he couldn’t do it. He couldn’t kill him. The side of him that he is always at odds with and the side that his father exhibits as a mob boss fought at that point and his side won.

Where his intimate life is concern, he is involved with a single parent and she is about ten years older than he is.

Actor Robert Iler plays Anthony Jr. Soprano. Mr. Iler was born on the 2nd March 1985 in New York. He has also acted in other shows such as Tic Code and Dare Devil.
